Japanese company Elecom has partnered with design house nendo to create the DATA Clip MF-CLU2 and DATA Hook MF-HKU2 USB flash drives. The former looks just like a paper clip while the latter has a shape like a carabiner. The DATA Clip and DATA Hook both come in 4GB capacity. They are available in black, white, red, green and blue. The clamshell phone features a 2.2-inch 320×240 display, a 1.3 Megapixel camera, as well as Quick Call Keys, and “breEZe” or “Advanced” mode menu options. It also offers Noise supression technology to filter out background noise and voice recognition that allows users to draft messages, start an application, and make calls via voice commands. Apple announced the world’s first Thunderbolt Display, which basically combines a monitor with a docking station for Mac notebook. Using the Thunderbolt I/O Technology, you can connect a Thunderbolt-enabled Mac to the display with a single cable, and the Mac is then able to use display’s FaceTime camera, high quality audio, and Gigabit Ethernet, FireWire 800, USB 2.0 and Thunderbolt ports. There is even a MagSafe connector for charging MacBook Pro or MacBook Air.
The Thunderbolt Display is designed specifically for Mac notebooks, featuring an elegant, thin, aluminum and glass enclosure. The 27-ich display utilizes IPS LCD panel with a 178-degree viewing angle and features 2560×1440 resolution, 375cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio. It sports built-in 2.1 speaker system, built-in FaceTime HD camera with microphone, three USB 2.0 ports, FireWire 800 port, Gigabit Ethernet port, Thunderbolt port and Kensington security slot. It also includes an ambient light sensor which automatically adjusts the display brightness based on external lighting conditions and uses only as much energy as necessary to provide an optimum viewing experience.
