Asus introduces a new thin and light 13.3-inch notebook, the U31SD powered by Intel’s Sandy Bridge second generation Core i3/i5 processor. The slim notebook has an elegant design and measures under 1-inch thick. It is powered by the Core i3-2310M or Core i5-2410M CPU with integrated Intel GMA HD graphics or optional NVIDIA GeForce GT520M with 1GB video memory. The Asus U31D packs up to 750GB hard drive and a 5-in-1 card reader for storage. It supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n and optional Bluetooth 2.1, and is equipped with Altec Lansing speakers and a 0.3 Megapixel webcam. Ideum announced its new MT55 HD, a 55-inch multitouch table, which is basically a fully integrated system with an LCD display, multitouch overlay, ultra clear tempered glass, powerful computer, UPS battery backup, and integrated cooling cell. It is also equipped with Bose Audio System.
The MT55 HD features 1920×1080 Full HD resolution, LED backlight, 4,000,000:1 contrast ratio and solid state optical multitouch system with 32 points of simultaneous touch input. The pedestal houses most components including the PC and the surface is just 3-inch thick. Both the pedestal and top surface are built-in aluminum and steel. The integtared computer system is boosted by Intel’s Core i7 quad-core 2.93GHz processor, 4GB RAM, NVIDIA Quadro 600 1GB graphics card, and dual 250GB hard drive.
The Ideum MT55 HD is 31-inch tall, matching ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements. The table supports Bluetooth, Ethernet, WiFi connectivity and offers HDMI output and USB ports. It comes with GestureWorks for Flash and Flex.

Kingston expands its DataTraveler 4000 series with the new fully-managed DataTraveler 4000-M Managed (DT4000-M) government-level secure USB flash drive specially developed for enterprise deployments. The new drive is FIPS 140-2 Level 2 Certified and TAA-compliant. It uses the SafeConsole for Kingston server software from BlockMaster to deliver best-in-class USB protection, flexibility and centralized management control at an affordable cost.
Kingston’s DT4000-M protects all stored data with hardware-based, 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) in CBC mode and it will lock down after 10 intrusion attempts and encryption key is destroyed. Security settings, including password length, maximum number of password attempts, preload content, can be customized by user. The DT4000-M is waterproof with a titanium-coated stainless steel casing and comes with coating/seal for physical security. The Kingston DataTraveler 4000-M is available in 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB. It offers up to 18MB/s read and 10MB/s write speeds.

Hitachi introduces its Touro Pro series external storage and backup solutions that utilizes the USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface. The Touro Pro drives come with 3GB online storage space for free for users to bring their files to the cloud, offering a “two levels of protection” of your data.
The Touro Pro is available in Mobile and Desk models. The Touro Mobile Pro is available in 500GB and 750GB while the Touro Desk Pro comes in 1TB, 2TB and 3TB. based on 7200RPM hard drives, they USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface and are USB-powered. Hitachi will also release the Touro line that doesn’t come with cloud storage. The Touro Mobile has 320GB, 500GB and 750GB models and the Touro is available in 1TB, 2TB and 3TB.
