Apple sued Samsung over some Smartphone & Tablet PC Designs

It seems like Apple Inc. is taking the "legal" way to sort our Smartphone rivalry with Samsung because Apple Inc. has filed a lawsuit against Samsung for copying sleek design of Apple iPhone in their Galaxy Series.

Undoubtedly, Apple is one of those companies which own several Smartphone and Tablet PC patents. Apple was recently sued by Nokia for some software related patents which in turn sued HTC Corp. over some similar Smartphone patent related issues.

Most of the companies these days are playing the cat and mouse game like this one i.e. sorting their market rivalries in court.

The Bitter Truth

Everybody knows that the only company which can give Apple a really rough competition in Smartphone and Tablet PC world is none other than Samsung.

Samsung's Galaxy S Smartphone and Galaxy Tab Tablet PC is a great competitor of Apple's iPhone and iPad respectively.

Also, Google's Android OS installed on Samsung's Galaxy S Smartphone and Galaxy Tab Tablet PC makes its functionalities and flexibility similar to that on Apple's iOS4.

Google's Android OS is brand name in itself, it doesn't need promotion from Samsung to create a market for itself and therefore it is contributing factor in Samsung's success and not the other way around.

Um… you can't really judge both the software because they are quite different from each other.

Android OS gives Apple iOS4 major competition in basic Smartphone features like Great Media Player, Internet Browser, Media Explorer, Gaming, Messaging Services etc.

It is a fact that Samsung's Android-based devices are a threat to Apple's iOS gadgets.

In fact, some tech analysts believe that Samsung is the only real competitor of Apple in the Tablet PC market and that is proved by sales recorded by both companies last year.

Is Samsung Creative?

Although Samsung's products are really fabulous both in terms of looks and features but one questions that sprouts up here is whether Samsung is creative enough to claim this media royalty or not.

Every mobile phone company is famous because of their original line of products like Apple's I Series gadgets and Sony's Walkman series media players.

Although, Samsung has Galaxy Series Smartphone but there design and features like screen icon style is inspired majorly from Apple iPhone which is the point behind this whole "Apple suing Samsung story."

What do you think… is Samsung a creative Smartphone manufacturer?

They are using Google's Android OS despite the fact that they have developed a mobile phone OS for themselves… Samsung Bada.

The popularity of Samsung Bada vs. Android can be seen in the popularity of Samsung Wave and Samsung Galaxy S. Both are great Smartphone in terms of Tech Specs but Android makes Galaxy S a hit while Wave still is an okay-okay Smartphone.

What Samsung has to say?

Samsung remained silent about this matter and said that they would take appropriate legal actions to sort out this matter with Apple.
