Elgato Tivizen Mobile TV Tuner Streams Live TV to iPad/iPhone Wirelessly Posted: 22 Apr 2011 03:06 AM PDT Elgato launches the Tivizen, a mobile TV tuner that does the same thing as PCTV’s Broadway 2T – turning your iPad or iPhone into a mobile TV.  The Tivizen supports DVB-T/Freeview digital TV standard and is equipped with ARM9 RISC decoder. The Tivizen pocket TV tuner receives live TV signal and then stream to your iPhone/iPad (using the free Tivizen app) or Windows PC/Mac wirelessly using local WiFi network. Users can watch, timeshift and even record TV shows on iPad/iPhone, Windows PC and Mac. The mobile TV tuner offers 3.5 hours of battery life using the rechargeable battery. Elgato Tivizen comes with EyeTV 3 software for Mac and THC for Windows. It is priced at Euro 149.95. Sony Ericsson W8 is XPERIA X8 with Walkman Logo Posted: 21 Apr 2011 10:37 PM PDT Sony Ericsson’s German website listed a new Walkman phone called W8, which is baically a XPERIA X8 Android smartphone with Walkman logo. As you can expect the W8 is identical to the X8 and comes with the so-called Walkman music player, of course. Panasonic Charge Pad with QE-PL201 The QE-TM101 is obviously a Charge Pad that does wireless charging. As it supports Qi wireless power standard, it can probably charge any products with the Qi logo, such as Energizer’s Single Zone Inductive Charger, and iPhone 4 Qi Sleeve. The QE-PL201-W and QE-PL101-W are portable batteries with 5400mAh and 2700mAh capacity, respectively. The QE-CV201-W, on the other hand, is a AA/AAA battery charging case that gets power from the QE-TM101 Charge Pad.
