Nikon is launching a new compact digital camera, the CoolPix S100 with a refined design and advanced functions. The S100, successor to the S80, comes with a 3.5-inch OLED touchscreen with wide viewing angle and easy operation. Thanks to slim, right-angle optics zoom lens, the camera is so slim at just 18.1mm. It is equipped with EXPEED C2 image processing engine.
The CoolPix S100 sports a 16 Megapixel backside illumination CMOS image sensor and a 5x optical zoom NIKKOR zoom lens with 28mm wide angle. It features ISO up to 3200, Smart Portrait system, Filter effects, 20 optimized scene modes and subject tracking functions. The camera includes also 3D photography function for taking 3D images that can be viewed in 3D by connecting a 3D-compatible HDMI cable to the camera and a 3D TV. The new compact CoolPix supports Full HD 1080p video recording with stereo sound and offers HDMI output. It will come in red, black, pink, gold, silver and purples colors and will be released in mid-September 2011 for $299.95 (Pre-order at Amazon.com).

The CoolPix S8200 features lens-shift vibration reduction (VR) function allows for improved zoom function and reduces the effects of camera shake, and the new Target finding AF function allowing users to simply point the camera in the direction of the intended subject and the camera immediately predicts that subject and then specifies the focus area and size for focusing. You can also expect ISO up to 3200, Filter Effects, Special Effects, Smile timer, and high-speed continuous shooting at 6fps. The S8200 supports Full HD 1080p video recording and offers HDMI output. Nikon brings the new S6200 digital camera to replace the S6100. The new camera features a 16 Megapixel image sensor and a 10x optical zoom 25mm wide angle NIKKOR ED glass lens. It is equipped with the EXPEED C2 image processing engine and features ISO up to 3200 and lens-shift vibration reduction (VR) function for camera shake compensation.
The CoolPix S6200 includes Special Effects and Filter Effects for users to create artistic works. It provides 18 optimized scene modes and scene auto selector. The new camera comes with a 2.7-inch LCD display and offers HDMI output. It can record 720p HD movies. The Nikon CoolPix S6200 will come in red, white, blue, black, pink and silver. It will be available in mid-September for $229.95 (Pre-order at Amazon.com).
