Ricoh GR DIGITAL IV Digital Camera Announced Posted: 16 Sep 2011 07:37 PM PDT   Ricoh introduces its new GR DIGITAL IV digital camera, the follow-up to the GR DIGITAL III. The new model features enhanced Quick Shooting capability and image quality. The new model is equipped with a 28mm/F1.9 GR Lens, the GR ENGINE III, and a high-sensitivity 10 Megapixel CCD image sensor. Featuring the Hybrid AF system, which is used in parallel with the conventional CCD contrast AF, the GR DIGITAL IV offers an AF focusing time as short as 0.2 seconds for quick shooting.   The GR DIGITAL IV includes the Image-sensor-shift Image Stabilization Function, which according to Ricoh, achieves a stabilization effect equivalent to a shutter speed increase of a maximum of 3.2 stops. When combined with the fast F1.9 GR lens, it enhances camera’s ability to capture dark scenes. The cmaera includes ISO up to 3200, dynamic range compensation to minimize the effects of blown highlights in bright areas, Auto Bracket function, Interval Composite mode, Positive Film and Bleach Bypass as well as multiple exposure shooting function. Ricoh’s new camera comes with a 3-inch VGA LCD display, which adds white pixels to the RGB ones. Other than Black model, Ricoh will also release the limited edition GR DIGITAL IV White Edition. HTC Radar Windows Phone 7.5 Smartphone Posted: 16 Sep 2011 08:54 AM PDT     Other than the flagship TITAN, HTC also brings the Radar, a more affordable Windows Phone 7.5 Mango smartphone. It sports a smaller 3.7-inch 480×800 touchscreen, a 5 megapixel camera with F2.2 lens, LED flash, BSI sensor and 720p HD video recording, a VGA front camera, Bluetooth, GPS capability and WiFi connectivity. It has an aluminum unibody. The Radar is powered by a 1GHz CPU and 512MB of memory. It comes with 8GB internal storage. Like the TITAN, it packs SRS enhancement and 5.1 surround sound for video. There are G-sensor, proxmity sensor and ambient light sensor. The HTC Radar supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and dual-band HSPA/WCDMA networks. HTC TITAN Windows Phone 7.5 Smartphone Posted: 16 Sep 2011 08:35 AM PDT HTC announced the new TITAN (aka Eternity) smartphone running Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 7.5 OS, codenamed Mango. The phone is boosted by a 1.5GHz processor with 512MB of RAM. It sports a 4.7-inch large 480×800 touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel camera with F2.2 lens, dual LED flash, BSI sensor and 720p HD video recording, and a 1.3 megapixel front camera.   The TITAN supports Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi 802.11/b/g/n connectivity. It includes SRS enhancement and 5.1 surround sound for video. The Mango phone has 16GB internal memory. It is equipped with gyro sensor, G-sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor. You can expect support for quad-band GSM/EDGE and tri-band HSPA/WCDMA 3G networks. Now, the cellphone maker announced its first phone with integrated Beats Audio, the HTC Sensation XE, an upgrade to the original Sensation. To offer a Beats Audio experience — a combination of software and hardware, the phone comes inbox with custom made Beats headsets, engineered to deliver extraordinary sound; and is pre-loaded with specially tuned software and user interface.   The Sensation XE is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 768MB of memory and 1GB usable internal storage. It features a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen with qHD (540 X 960) resolution, a 8 Megapixel camera with auto focus, dual LED flash and 1080p Full HD video recording, a front-facing VGA camera,  built-in GPS support, Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity as well as a microSD card slot for expansion. The Android device sports gyro sensor, G-sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor as well.
