| Corsair Vengeance M60 and M90 Gaming Mice Posted: 21 Sep 2011 04:33 AM PDT  Corsair Vengeance M60 In addition to new Vengeance gaming keyboards, Corsair also launches the Vengeance M60 and M90 gaming mice. Like new keyboards, both mice have aluminum structure to provide strength and durability. The M60 and M90 both come with Avago 5700 DPI sensor with on-the-fly resolution switching. The former is intended for FPS gaming and the latter for MMO and RTS gaming.  Corsair Vengeance M90 The Vengeance M60 features an aluminum unibody design with adjustable center of gravity and the Sniper button that allows an instant toggle from fast movement, high DPI-resolution mode down to a high-precision mode for more accurate aiming. The M90 has 15 fully programmable buttons, arranged and tuned for intuitive operation and on-board flash memory, which is enough to store up to six profiles that can be switched on the fly. Both Vengeance mice include programmable lift detection, high-mass scroll wheel, and PTFE glide pads that ensure swift, precise movement. Corsair introduces the new Vengeance K60 and K90 gaming keyboards, both with an aluminum structure to provide strength and durability. The former is designed for first-person shooters (FPS) while the K90 is ideal for MMO and RTS gaming. They feature Cherry MX Red mechanical key switches for more agile movement and faster multi-taps, 20-key rollover, and 1ms reporting rate.

The K60 and K90 use an advanced key matrix design that elivers complete anti-ghosting so no keystrokes are missed. The K60 comes with contoured left-wrist rest plus shaped and textured WASD key caps increase comfort, even during extended gaming sessions. The K90, on the other hand, includes 18 dedicated macro keys that can be programmed either through software or on the fly, and with three user-selectable banks of macros you have a total of 54 independent macros available at any time. SanDisk launches its 64GB Mobile Ultra microSDXC memory card. The high capacity card is compatible with any tablet or smartphone equipped with a microSDXC card slot. TASCAM introduces its new DR-40 handheld 4-track recorder with condenser microphones, adjustable to XY or AB position. The new recorder also provides XLR mic inputs. It captures up to four tracks from its built-in condenser microphone, XLR microphone or line inputs. With adjustable condenser microphone, the DR-40 helps you to tailor your recording to the sound of the room.
With two TASCAM microphone preamps, the DR-40 records at up to 96kHz/24-bit resolution in WAV or MP3 format. It features 2-second pre-recording buffer, Stereo Reverb effect, adjustable limiter and low cut filter (40 / 80 / 120 Hz), peak reduction that sets ideal recording level, dual recording mode that captures a safety track at a lower level to avoid distortion and overdub mode that allows recording along with a previous take. It sports built-in speaker and chromatic tuner.
The TASCAM DR-40 offers variable speed playback from 50-150% speed without changing the pitch and playback EQ and level align. The portable recorder has locking Neutrik Combi jacks, XLR / 1/4″ mic/line input with phantom power, 1/8″ headphone/line output as well as tripod mounting hole. AT&T launches the Huawei Impulse 4G Android smartphone, which is the carrier’s first smartphone from Huawei. Though with 4G in its name, the phone doesn’t support 4G LTE network but quad-band HSPA network with up to 14.4Mbps. It is powered by Qualcomm MSM7230 with Scorpion 800MHz processor. The Huawei Impulse 4G is available from AT&T for $29.99 with a 2-year contract.
